Attached federal efile status e-file error
The attached Federal Efile needs to have one of the following statuses: Qualified, Accepted, or Awaiting Acknowledgement.
You get this error when the federal e-file doesn't have a status of qualified, accepted, or awaiting acknowledgement and attempting to e-file the state return.
Solution
- Go toOrganizer,States,State E-file,Enable Create Returns, and then theFederal Copytab.
- SelectAttach the federal XML created in another returnand then in columns C, D, and E, enter the information from the locator that has the accepted federal return.
- Perform a full re-compute, re-create the e-file, then re-submit.
