Error message

Solution
Illinois only requires you to e-file the extension if you owe tentative tax on Form IL-1065-V. In other words, you use the extension e-file solely to submit payment — if no amount is due, skip e-filing the extension entirely.
If a payment is due, follow these steps to resolve the error:
- Go to tab, and enter the extension amount paid inColumn E (EXTENSION AMOUNT PAID).
- Populate Columns C, D, E, F, G, and H. The state doesn't accept NONE as a value.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
note
- If no amount is due, you don't need to e-file.
- If you have questions about what you can e-file, or about a rejection you've received, contact the state directly for guidance.
