Paid Preparer Information: Massachusetts requires that the paid preparer information be completed before the return can be electronically filed. The paid preparer information includes the paid preparer's name, phone, EIN, and the preparer's SSN or PTIN and signature date. For extensions, use the Massachusetts row on the spreadsheet navigated below.
This happens when paid preparer section is incomplete.
Solution
- InOrganizer, selectStates, then theCommon Statefolder.
- SelectGeneral Informationthen thePaid Preparer Informationfolder.
- Go to thePreparer Informationtab.
- SelectMassachusettsand enter theDateon Column H.
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
