E-file diagnostic: Form M3, E-mail Address
Form M3, E-mail Address: If you enter a Partnership e-mail address for correspondence, you must select whether this e-mail address belongs to Employee, Paid Preparer, or Other. In addition, if Other is selected, you must fill out the box for Other Description.
This happens when Form M3 Partnership Return Page 2 Email Address for Correspondence has an email address entered but it isn't assigned to someone.
Solution
- Go to .
- Go toGeneral Information, then theGeneral Informationsection.
- Make a selection inPartnership email address belongs to.
- If you selectOther, make sure to enter something in the field provided.
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
