Error: Field ‘ShareholderPctIncome’ with value 'NONE', data format is not correct

You receive this error when e-filing a Minnesota 1065 return because the ShareholderPctIncome field contains a text value like "NONE" or "VARIOUS" instead of a decimal number.

Solution 1: Update the partner's distributive share

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Minnesota
    KPC
    [Partner Name]
    KPC, Page 1
    Partner's distributive share
    .
  2. Change the value from NONE or VARIOUS to 0.00 or a positive amount.
  3. Perform a full recompute and recreate the e-file.

Solution 2: Update the partner ratio in the columnar entry

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    Columnar Partner Entry
    RatiosUnits
    .
  2. Locate the partner row with NONE or VARIOUS. Change the value to 0.00 or a positive amount.
  3. Perform a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
