E-file error: The attached Federal Efile needs to have one of the following statuses: Qualified, Accepted, or Awaiting Acknowledgement

The attached federal return must have a status of Qualified, or a submission status of Awaiting Acknowledgement or Accepted.

Error message

The attached Federal Efile needs to have one of the following statuses: "Qualified", "Accepted", or "Awaiting Acknowledgement".

Solution 1

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    States
    ,
    State E-file
    ,
    Enable/Create Returns
    , then the
    Federal copy
     tab.
  2. Enter information for Columns B, C, D, and E.
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.

     tab.
  2. Client needs to qualify the federal return in the same locator they're filing MO.
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
