E-file diagnostic: NY e-file: According to NY, “C/O” or “In Care of”

NY E-File: According to NY, "C/O" or "In Care of" can NOT be entered on the first line of the partnership address. "In Care of" or "C/O" should be entered the 2nd address line. Go to Organizer States.
This happens when for the state New York “C/O” or “In Care of” is entered on the 1st line instead of 2nd line partnership address.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    General information
    ,
    Basic
    Return
    information
     folder.
  2. Select the
    Entity Information
     tab.
  3. Remove
    C/O
     From
    Address Line
    .
  4. Then do a full recompute.
  5. Recreate the e-file.
