Error: The field 'FTIN' with value '0', data is missing

This validation error occurs when e-filing a Texas 1065 return because the Federal Taxpayer Identification Number (FTIN) field on Form 05-165 or Form 05-166 is missing or contains an invalid value.

  2. Enter the
    Taxpayer Number
    .
    note
    The Texas taxpayer number must be 11 digits.
  3. Alternatively, go to
    Organizer
    State Franchise Tax
    Texas Franchise
    Combined Return Information
    Common Owner Information
    .
  4. Enter the
    Taxpayer Number
    .
    note
    The Texas taxpayer number must be 11 digits.
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
