Error: The field 'IRC179DedB' with value '0', data is missing

This validation error occurs when the IRC § 179 Deduction field on Form BI-477 page 2 contains a positve value instead of a negative integer.

  2. On
    Part III Line 18b
    , ensure that the value populated on the line is negative (for example, enter -1234 instead of 1234).
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.

If Line 18b is populated with NONE, use a spacebar override to remove the NONE, then perform a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
