F3800-412 e-file error

* F3800-412: If Form 3800 Part IV line 2zz column (f) CYGeneralBusCrCarryforwardAmt has a non-zero value, then Form 3800 Part I line 4 CYGeneralBusCrCarryforwardAmt must have a non-zero value.
This happens when an entry in Part IV, line 2zz, column(f) indicates there is a general business credit carryforward from prior years, so a total carryforward to the current year is expected on Part I, line 4 but is missing.

Solution 1

  1. In Organizer, select
    Credits
    , then
    General Business Credit
    .
  2. Select
    General Business Credit Parts III and V
    .
  3. Select
    Part III lines 1a - 1o
     .
  4. In the line PART III LINE 1C - Part V Detail line 1a-1o grids for this member -
    Form 6765
     enter the value.
  5. Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.

  1. In Tax forms, select
    Federal
    , then
    3800 - General Business Credit
    .
  2. Select
    3800, Page 1
     populate line 4 of part I and enter the value.
  3. Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
