Error: The field 'MinnesotaTaxID' with value '0', data is missing
You get this error when you leave the Minnesota Tax ID field blank (or enter '0') for an entity that has nexus in Minnesota. The state requires a 7-digit Minnesota Tax ID to e-file the return, and this ID must be entered for every member with Minnesota nexus if you're filing a combined return.

Solution
- Go to .
- Enter the 7-digit Minnesota identification number. This ID is necessary to e-file the Minnesota return.
- If you're filing a combined Minnesota return, enter the Minnesota Tax ID for every member entity that has nexus in Minnesota.
- To identify which entities have Minnesota nexus, go to tab.
- Subview the nexus checkbox and make sure each marked entity has a Minnesota Tax ID.
- The application also assumes nexus when a member has an amount (or "NONE") on line 11 of the M4A. To check this, go to tab and review line 11. If this line shows an amount or "NONE," treat the entity as having nexus and enter its tax ID accordingly.
