You'll get this error when a ZIP Code used in this return doesn't match the list of valid ZIP Codes for the state listed.

Error message

Rule Number: R0000-007 For US Addresses, the first five digits of the ZIP code of the Filer's address must be within the valid ranges of ZIP codes listed for the corresponding State Abbreviation in Publication 4164

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    Entity Information
    .
  2. Review the ZIP Code in the
    Address
     section and correct it to match the state abbreviation.
  3. Make sure the ZIP Code is within valid ranges for the state abbreviation using IRS Publication 5594.
  4. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
