AL20C-001a e-file error
AL20C-001a: if fiscal year checkbox is populated and the 52/53 week filer checkbox is NOT populated, then Tax period Begin Date should be greater than or equal to 02/01/XXXX and less than or equal to 12/31/XXXX.
This happens when fiscal year dates fields have values, this implies a fiscal year return.
Solution
- Go toTax form,States, and selectAlabama.
- Go toAlabama Privilege tax,CPT-Privilege Tax Return, and thenCPT Page 1.
- Verify that the line1ahas anX.
- If this field is marked, remove the dates in the organizer.
- Go toOrganizer,General Information, andBasic Return information.
- In theDatessection, remove dates in theFiscal year beginningandFiscal year endingfields as having dates in those fields would imply it's a fiscal year return.
