- Make sure theCorporation Numberline contains a valid 7- or 12-digit number (7-digit number must start with 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, or 9), or selectReason the corporation number is not applicable.
- Right-click and selectSub Viewto check if lower members have the Corporation Number, if working with Consolidated returns.
- If the corporation number is unknown, contact the California E-Help Desk at (916) 845-0353 to obtain it.
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
- If all requirements can't be met, consider paper filing.
