This happens when you enter the wrong SIC code.

Solution

  1. At the member level, go to
    Organizer
    States
    California
    Net Operating Loss
    Net Operating Loss - Regular
    All years
    .
  2. Remove any code from the
    Disaster/SIC Code
     column.
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    California
    Net Operating Loss
    Net Operating Loss
    Net Operating Loss
    [Year]
    .
  4. Enter a valid 4-digit SIC Code for the year and remove any placeholders.
  5. Do a full recompute and recreate the return to clear the diagnostic.
