IL477-1300-2 e-file error

This error occurs when Form IL-477 Step 1, Line 2, Column H doesn't match the total of Step 1, Line 1, Column H.

Error message

Form IL-477 (Rule IL477-1300-2): Form IL-477 Step 1 Line 2 Col H must equal sum of all occurrences of Form IL-477 Step 1 Line 1 Col H.

Solution

  1. In the top consolidated locator, go to
    Organizer
    States
    Illinois
    Credits
    Replacement Tax Investment Credits
    .
  2. Remove the information entered there.
  3. Enter the information at the member level instead.
  4. Under the
    Part I
     section, complete the following columns:
    1. Description
    2. Month
    3. Year
    4. Life
    5. New/Used
    6. Business Activity
    7. Location of Use
    8. Basis
      .
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
