RHS-024 e-file error

Error

RHS-024: Filer.USAddress.AddressLine1Txt can not exceed 30 characters.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    States
    ,
    Common State
    ,
    General Information
    , and then the
    Basic Return Information
     tab.
  2. For the Indiana row, make sure the
    Address
     field (foreign or domestic) isn't more than 30 characters (spaces and special characters are included in that number). Use Column E to enter characters past 30.
  3. Perform a full recompute, re-create the e-file, then re-submit.
