E-file diagnostic: Business Activity Ratio (BAR) Line 11

Business Activity Ratio (BAR) Line 11 - Other Business Income: The amount must equal to the total amount on Organizer/ States/ Iowa/ Allocation and Apportionment/ Apportionment Detail, Other Business Income.
This happens when Other Business Income amount is not equal to the total amount on Organizer.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    ,
    States
    ,
    Iowa
     folder.
  2. Select
    Form IA-1120
     and go to
    Page 5
    .
  3. Go to the
    Schedule E - Business Activity Ratio (BAR)
     section. The
    Line 11 Column A
     and
    Column B
     amounts need to match the amounts in step 6.
  4. Go to
    Organizer
    ,
    States
    ,
    Iowa
     folder.
  5. Select
    Allocation and Apportionment
     and go to the
    Apportionment Detail
     section.
  6. In the
    Other Business Income
     sub section, the
    Total
     columns for
    Within
     and
    Everywhere
     need to match the amounts in step 3.
  7. Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
