Solution 1: Populate bank information fields

Go to
Organizer
States
Common State
General Information
Bank Information
.
Select the
Extension - Debit
tab.
Populate all required fields for Iowa.
Enter at least 1.00 in
PaymentAmount
. Don't enter 0.
Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.

Solution 2: Don’t e-file the extension

If the client has no Iowa tax liability and no payment is due, don't e-file the extension.
Iowa automatically grants a 6-month extension without requiring an extension form.
