F720-0085 e-file error

If the sum of Part II, lines 6, 15, and 16 minus lines 7 through 14 is less than zero, then Part II, line 18 should be equal to the sum of Part II, lines 7 through 14 minus the sum of lines 6, 15, and 16.
This happens when Form 720 Page 4 Part II, Line 18 is expecting a data entry.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Kentucky
    .
  2. Select
    Form 720-Kentucky Corp. Income Tax Return
     and go to Page 4, Line 18.
  3. Enter
    NONE
    , then do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
