Error: Franchise tax Property ratio not used

When the property ratio for Louisiana franchise tax is too small or missing, you need to mark the
Franchise tax Property ratio not used
 checkbox to e-file the return.

Error message

Louisiana Electronic Filing: Franchise tax Property ratio not used Navigation:Organizer >State >Lousiana > Allocation and Apportionment > check the box Franchise tax Property ratio not used.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Louisiana
    CIFT-620 - Corporation Income Tax Return
    CIFT-620, Page 14
    .
  2. Verify Line 21 has a ratio.
    1. This reflects to Page 15, Line 2. If Line 21 doesn't have a ratio, mark the checkbox on Line 2.
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    State
    Louisiana
    Allocation and Apportionment
    .
  4. Mark
    Franchise tax Property ratio not used
     checkbox.
  5. Recompute and recreate the return.
