Solution 2: Verify federal return acceptance

Go to the

State E-file
Enable/Create Returns
Federal Copy
tab.
If you use a federal XML created in a different locator/binder, verify the
EIN
,
account number
, and
locator number
match an accepted federal return.
If you use the federal XML created in the current locator, submit the federal return first.
Wait for the IRS to accept the federal return.
Do a full recompute, then recreate and resubmit the Michigan e-file.
