Error: The field 'BusinessBeginDate' with value 'N/A', data format is not correct

You get this error when the business begin date contains an invalid date, such as N/A.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    Entity Information
    .
  2. Complete Column H for New Mexico.
  3. Enter the date the business began in New Mexico using the YYYY-MM-DD format.
  4. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    New Mexico
    CIT-1 - Tax Return
    CIT-1 Pg 1
    and remove any overrides for this field.
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
