You get this error when you don't complete the electronic signature authorization and direct debit information required for the New York e-file.

Solution
- Go to .
- Select theElectronic Signature Check-Offlink. On the next screen, mark the checkbox.
- Go to tab.
- Complete columns C, D, F, G, K, and L. In column K, enter the date to be debited for New York.
- Run a full recompute and recreate the New York e-file.
