NCCD405-1200 e-file error
NCCD405-1200: [CD-405] If CD-405CW is filed, Schedule B Line 7 must equal CD-405CW Schedule C Combined Totals Line 30; otherwise, Schedule B line 7 must equal Schedule G line 30, if Schedule G is present.
This happens when you are missing the required state information for e-filing.
Solution
- If you are filing for FormCD-405 CW, go toTax Forms,States, and theNorth Carolinafolder.
- Select FormCD-405, and thePage 2tab.
- In theSch Bsection, the value inLine 7must match the value in theTax Forms,States, and theNorth Carolinafolder.
- Go to theCD-405 CW,Combined Returnfolder.
- Select theCD-405 CW Page 2Sch CsectionLine 30value.
- Otherwise, theSch B Line 7value shouldmatch Schedule G line 30, ifSchedule Gis present.
- Update the amount in theOrganizer,States,North Carolinafolder.
- Go toState Adjustments, then theFederal Overridessection.
- Enter the amount under LineFederal taxable income (Override).
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
