Texas prior year tax payment: Enter the payment made during the preceding tax year.

This happens when you still need to report the amount of taxes paid in the previous tax year.

Solution

Go to

Organizer
State Franchise Tax
Texas Franchise

folder.

Select the General Information
folder, then General Information
tab.

In the Payment of Tax During Preceding Tax year
section, select another option besides Blank
.

Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
