Error: Texas Form 05-102 top consolidation data entry

The top consolidation return doesn't generate its own Public Information Report (Form 05-102) and no information can be entered in the return for that purpose.

Error message

Form 05-102: Information should not be entered in the top consolidation. It should be entered in the lower level entities

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    State Franchise Tax
    Texas Franchise
    Return options
    Print suppression section
    .
  2. Select the checkbox for
    Automatically generated form 05-102
    .
  3. Do a full recompute, reconsolidate, and recreate the e-file.
