Error: XML validation not processed for Texas 2nd Extension

You may get this message appear when trying to create the XML for the 2nd Texas extension in an 1120 return. This occurs when the return doesn't meet the requirements to file the 2nd extension.

Error message

XML electronic filing process is completed. Validation is not processed.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    Estimates and Extensions
    Estimates and Extensions
    Extension tab
    .
  2. Mark the
    On Extension
     checkbox under
    Column B
     for the Texas 2nd Extension row.
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    Estimates and Extensions
    Extension Detail
    .
  4. Go to the section for
    Texas
    .
  5. Under
    Type of Extension
    , select
    Second extension for mandatory EFT payers
    .
  6. Under
    Payment of Tax During Preceding Tax Year (Mandatory)
    , the selection needs to be a minimum of $10,000 or more.
  7. Run a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
