Virginia permits only 1 PDF attachment per return. This validation error occurs when multiple PDF files are attached to a Virginia Form 500.

Solution: Combine PDF attachments
- Go to .
- Combine all attachments into 1 PDF file and attach only the single combined PDF file for Virginia.
- Remove any attachments that Virginia doesn't require.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
