Monitor the status of an FBAR e-file

Review your FBAR e-file for status and acknowledgment information.
After you submit an FBAR e-file, you can monitor its status and verify the acknowledgment information:
  1. In RS Browser, select
    Returns Processing
    E-file
    Status Report
    .
  2. Select your search criteria on the
    E-file Status
     screen, then select
    Continue
    .
  3. Go to the
    Juris Description
     column for a list of FBAR e-files.
  4. Refer to the following columns for status and acknowledgment information:
    • E-File Status
    • Date Sent
    • Date Ack.
    • Submission ID
      note
      The
      Submission ID
       is also known as the
      BSA Identifier
       and FinCEN issues it. You'll need the BSA
      BSA Identifier
       if you're filing a corrected FBAR.
