Overrides
Manual entries directly on the tax form and workpaper fields are called Overrides.
Overrides made in the Tax Forms area don't carry back to Organizer screens of the Tax Accounting System (TAS). And when you perform a full recompute, overrides are automatically replaced with TAS data.
Different types of overriding data in the Tax Forms area causes a 'snowflake' to appear beside the field.
- Blue - indicates the computed data and override agree.
- Red - indicates the computed data and manual override don't agree.
note
For consolidated returns, if you enter overrides in the same field across all entities in the consolidated group, the field should consolidate.
