About partner bridge
For tax year 2022 and later, you can import and export federal and state partner information and special allocations.
Steps for using Partner Bridge
- Download the Partner Bridge spreadsheet in the file download table for your product.noteThe table is on the main product page entitledData imports and exports.
- Complete theControlworksheet.
- TheStatesworksheet lists the 2-character code abbreviation for each state, U.S. territories and possessions, and U.S. military postal designations. Use the 2-character code to complete the Partner Information worksheet.
- TheForeignworksheet lists country names and designations in alpha order. Use this worksheet to determine the 2-character code to complete the Partner Information worksheet.
- To import partner information, complete the Partner Information worksheet.
- To import special allocations, complete the Special Allocations worksheet.

Schedule K-3 fields are not included in Partner Bridge. We recommend:
- Use Tax Return Import to import data for information that's calculated inside the system.
- Use DK-1 for information that's calculated outside the system.
