Create Organizers

To create Organizers in MyTaxInfo you'll need to:
  • Have Full Access - User rights
  • Have current year tax returns with a social security number and email address.
You can do this by creating a new return or rolling over prior year returns.
  1. To create a current year Organizer or return, roll over the appropriate prior year returns or create a new return.
  2. Select
    Returns Processing
    , then
    Preseason Processing
    , then
    MyTaxInfo
    , then
    Create Organizers
    .
  3. On the
    Create MyTaxInfo Organizers
    screen, select the
    Account
    ,
    Year
    , and
    Return type
    .
  4. Optional: sort the list by one of these options, search returns for the specific string of characters, or specify an
    assigned to
    option.
  5. Select
    Continue
    to create a list of taxpayers.
  6. Enter a contact
    Name
    , contact
    Phone
    number, and contact
    Email
    address for this batch of returns. These will be visible in the taxpayer’s Questionnaire.
  7. Select the returns you want to create organizers for. You can use the
    GoSystem Status
    and
    MyTaxInfo Status
    columns to help review which returns you should select.
  8. Once you've selected the returns, select
    Create Organizers
    .
Once complete, a notification email is sent to the selected clients.
