Form 3800
is released with the following limitations. E-file is available for Form 3800 if Part VI is not used in a return. - Calculation carryover revision: For 2025 we are pulling in prior year suspended losses into Parts IV and VI from Form 8582-CR. The carryover schedules will only be used for non-passive carryovers. If your carryover schedules include passive numbers from the prior year that are covered by Form 8582-CR prior year-suspended losses, you will need to make an adjustment so the amount is not doubled.
- There is a hyperlink on top of pages 3-9 that will take you to workpapers where you can override for parts V and VI.
- If there is a single row on the grid, the credit won’t print on parts V and VI (instead it goes directly to parts III or IV)
- If you add a line be sure to include the Line Number since it's the line number field that determines if data transfers to parts V and VI or straight to parts III and IV.
State forms currently under development:
- California, Multiple Form 568 LLC e-file is available. However, the functions to e-file multiple 568 LLC extension and estimated returns.
- Montana, Credit for Income Taxes Paid to Another State or Country and the Annualized Income Installment Method.
- Oregon Counties, Form PIT-V and Filing instructions for OR-TM, Metro SHS and MultCo Preschool.
Michigan Citites, Footnotes for all common form cities are printing for each city when a locator has more than one CF-1040 return.

Louisiana
:
- Form 540ES, line 5 calculation properly uses 3%.
- IT-540 line 8-b updated to be blank when not itemizing federal return.
Maryland
:
- Addressed an issue where Form 505SU, line f is pulling the total childcare expenses from Federal Form 2441 although nonresidents should subtract only the portion attributable to the state.
- Addressed an issue where the passive interest income from K-1s is now correctly included in the US obligation worksheets supporting Form 502SU, lines ab and r.
- Addressed an issue where Form 500CR credits incorrectly flowed to Part AAA and Part CCC when the Derived from Other Entity checkbox was marked.
- Updated the e-file schema to prevent the AuthToDirectDepositInd element from being included for returns that do not have a refund.
Michigan
:
- Addressed an issue where an erroneous e-file reject diagnostic related to Form 4884, line 12 appeared when no public pension was reported on line 8.
- Addressed an issue where the worksheet of Schedule 1 line 10 included K-1 state difference from US obligations.
- Corrected the print on Detroit Form MI-8453 for the Electronic Return Originator (ERO) name.
Montana
:
- Updated the display and compute for Form 2, Page 7, Schedule III, Part II - Credit for Taxes Paid.
- Corrected the amount on Form EST-I, Page 1, Part I, line 1.
Nebraska
:
- Line 44 - resolved an issue when both the taxpayer and spouse are qualified volunteer emergency responders the credit raises to $500.
- Resolved a Refund Validation error in e-file when there is no refund in the return.
- Resolved an issue where NE estimate vouchers 3 and 4 would not print if the voucher 4 has none as an amount.
New Hampshire
:
- Form DP10 - Page 2, line 4 - updated to remove error message.
- Form DP10 - updated fields no longer used.
New York
:
- Forms IT-2105.9, line 39 is not adding first quarter penalty.
- Forms IT-213 line 9 is wrongly computing credit for taxpayers having income above threshold.
Ohio
: School District - restored redaction to Ohio School district.Oklahoma
:
- Updated the text and logic for the Form 511-NR line 22 diagnostic.
- Corrected an issue where the number of exemptions on Form 511-EF was calculating incorrectly for nonresidents.
- Updated the computation on Form 511-EIC line 20.
