Federal

We updated or addressed the following:
Depreciation
: Addressed the issue where entries to the Section 179 Override screen for Depletion don't flow to Schedules C or E.
Form 1040
:
  • Updated the Federal withholding whitepaper print detail to include 1099 Consolidated Interest and sale of stocks and bonds.
  • Schedule B: 1099-OID items with Box 5 Market Discount but no Box 1 OID amount are not included as interest income.
Form 3468 - 3b(ii)
: Corrected an issue where Owner TIN wasn't printing.
Form 3520-A
: Line 8 statement detail entry now appears in the Organizer.
Form 3800
: When the Form 3800 special rule reduces credit to 0, amounts don't appear on carryover schedules.
Form 6251
: Resolved an issue where line 13b exemptions for estates and trusts on the 1040 NR were not subtracted from Form 6251 line 1.
NOL
: Restored the option to suppress the Federal AMT NOL carryover worksheet print selection.

State

We updated or addressed the following:
Alabama
:
  • Updated Schedule A line 16.
  • Updated the e-file on Schedule B to meet Business Rule AL40-325.
California
:
  • Removed the duplicate amount from Form 6198 line 3 "US Dividends" to prevent double counting.
  • Partner Basis Worksheet Workpaper, AMT: Losses and Deductions Totals now print correctly.
  • Partner Basis Worksheet Workpaper, Regular: Other Sch E Income Portfolio now prints correctly.
Colorado
:
  • Added Organizer fields for Federal NOL Addback and Recapture of Prior Year Subtractions for DR 0104 Line 8.
  • Corrected Form DR 0104X transposed lines 11 and 12.
  • Updated print requirements for Form DR 0204 lines 15 and 18 whitepaper statement.
Kentucky
: Updated Form 8582K Total Unallowed Loss on spouse form to display properly.
Massachusetts
: Updated the Basis Schedule print for Page 2, line 14.
Michigan City
: Corrected Form CF-1040 Attachments 2-1 and 13 for returns with W-2 flagged as retirement income.
Mississippi
: Added to Form 80-161 Tax Form display view under NR/PY Tab.
Montana
: Corrected the filing instructions overpayment applied to next year's estimated taxes amount.
