We're pleased to announce the latest update to Guided Assurance, which includes new features and important enhancements to improve your audit experience.

New and improved

  • Disclosure Review – General Availability
    :
    Disclosure Review
     is now available to all Guided Assurance Disclosure Checklist users. Disclosure Review identifies disclosures made in financial statements and matches them to the requirements in the disclosure checklist. Once Disclosure Review is run, users are provided an AI suggestion with supporting rationale and citations within the financial statements. Additional information can be found through Help and Support: Disclosure Review.
  • Affirm individual disclosure answers
    : In the
    Disclosure checklist
    , you can now affirm a carried-forward answer one question at a time, instead of only being able to affirm every prior-period answer at once.

General Enhancements

  • Updated guidance and tips
    : We refreshed the on-screen guidance ("blue link" tips) in several planning, materiality, and sampling worksheets to reflect current guidance, including updated benchmark examples in the
    Financial Statement Materiality
     worksheet (CX-2), clearer stratified-sampling guidance (CX-8), an expanded list of unconscious-bias examples in risk assessment (CX-7.1), and enhanced audit-response tips in the audit programs.
  • Cleaner bulk actions in the Audit Program
    : After a successful bulk action in the
    Audit Program
     — such as signing off or marking items as N/A — your row selection now clears automatically, so a previous selection doesn't carry into your next action.
