Create a new engagement in Onvio

Before creating your engagement, make sure you're signed into Guided Assurance from Onvio. Sign in to https://onvio.us/login/ with your username and password. Select
Profile
and choose
View Profile
. Go to the
Guided Assurance
tab and enter your credentials, review the license agreement, then select
Save
.
You can create a Guided Assurance engagement in Onvio by doing the following: 
  1. Select
    Menu
    .
  2. Select
    Guided Assurance
    from the list.
  3. Select
    Add
    to create a Project.
  4. Enter the information in all the mandated fields then select
    Save and Open
    .
  5. Use the toggle to activate Guided Assurance then select
    Guided Assurance Setup
    .
  6. Guided Assurance will open in another window. Choose
    Set up the engagement
    then select
    Continue
    .
  7. You'll need to setup the following:
    Industry:
    1. Select
      New
      for Source.
    2. Select the type of engagement you want to create for Engagement Type.
    3. Select your PPC Practice Aid title for Industry.
    4. Select
      Next
      .
    Audit Areas:
    1. Choose the audit areas you want to include in your engagement.
    2. Select
      Next
      .
    Setup Questions:
    1. Select the appropriate answer for each setup question by choosing
      Yes
      or
      No
      for each one.
    2. Select
      Done
      .
    note
    The practice aid title you select determines which setup questions appear here. Setup questions determine which engagement procedures are included and, in certain cases, which audit areas or financial statement areas are included.
  8. Your engagement will now be created. Close the screen when the process is complete.
  9. Open the engagement in the
    Binder
    tab to return to Onvio.
