Import an engagement from Guided Assurance in Onvio

You can import an engagement from SMART Practice Aids or Guided Assurance instead of creating a new engagement. Do the following to import an engagement into Onvio:
  1. Go to the Settings tab and select
    Guided Assurance Setup
    .
  2. Guided Assurance will open in another window. Select
    Import an existing engagement
     then
    Continue
    .
  3. Choose the source of the imported engagement.
  4. You can either
    Drag and drop files here
     or
    Browse for file
     to upload your engagement.
  5. Select
    Next
    when the engagement name and industry shows.
    note
    You can only upload files with extension
    .sprtl
     or
    .sptr
    . If you try to upload files with any other extension, you'll get a warning message that indicates you've selected an incorrect file type.
  6. The import may take several minutes. If you choose to import, select
    Upload and Import Engagement
    .
  7. When the import is complete, you'll get an alert that says "Your Engagement data has been imported." Close the screen after you get that message.
  8. Go back to Onvio to access your imported engagement.
