CPE Compliance and Customer Policy for RIA
RIA is a part of Checkpoint Learning and its courses are delivered as QAS self-study. Unless otherwise stated in each course's descriptive information, no other prerequisites or advanced preparation are required.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org. Checkpoint Learning is approved for Group Live, Group Internet Based, QAS Self Study, and Nano Learning delivery methods. |

The IRS Tax Preparer Office requires that any course to be used for IRS PTIN holders need to be pre-registered with the IRS. If you are a PTIN holder and are interested in obtaining IRS CE credit, be sure to review the course details page in TR Learning to determine if the course you are considering is accredited to IRS. Also, be sure that your PTIN number is entered into your TR Learning profile. |
Customer Policy for Cancellations and Refunds
All complaints will be carefully reviewed by the appropriate product and or training manager for resolution. If the complaint is in regard to the course content or delivery, the appropriate manager and instructors will review the complaint and make any necessary changes to the course material or presentation. Complaints regarding administrative policies will be reviewed by the CPE department and Administrator for corrections. Corrections made will follow the standards that are stated in the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy's (NASBA) CPE administration policies. All interested parties: CPA and State Board are then notified of the resolution.
We'll issue a full refund if:
- The participant cancels 2 business days prior to the beginning of the class, or
- A class is canceled and the participant can't attend another class.
We allow substitution of training participants at any time.
If the participant cancels less than 2 business days prior to the beginning of the class or doesn’t attend, your money won’t be refunded. The participant will be allowed to take the class at another time based on availability.
