Issue instructor or partial credit for a course
There may be times where you need to modify the number a credits someone received for attending a course, whether it is because they didn't attend the entire course, or they were an instructor.
- Sign in as an administrator or power user.
- From the main menu
, go to My Credits / Certificates. - SelectManage Users. If you're editing credits for yourself, skip to step 4.
- Find the user in the list or use the search field to search for the user.
- Select their name to view their completed courses and certificates.
- In the list of the user's completed courses, find the course you want to modify and select the View/edit credit details
icon.noteIf you don't see the course in the list, it isn't marked as complete for this user. - SelectEdit Credit.
- Instructors only: If you're editing for instructor credit, go to theDeliveryfield and chooseTeaching(or another instructor type) from the dropdown menu.
- Update the credit information for each regulator, including NASBA.
- SelectSave.
Once you save, the credits awarded should reflect the reaccredited amounts. Certificates will also update with the partial credit amount you entered for the NASBA regulator. Select the Certificate
icon next to the course to view the updated certificate.
If an instructor is marked complete in a webinar session, you can't use the same instructor in a rebroadcast.
For now, don't mark the instructor complete and add an external Teaching activity for the instructor. When adding the external Teaching activity, you may want to create a certificate of completion and attach it to the activity.
