Record a webinar session

This applies to licensed TR Connect users only
In TR Connect, you can record and archive your live sessions as standard MP4 video files with a publish resolution of 720P.
To start recording:
  1. Go to
    Tools
    in the top toolbar.
  2. Select
    Recording
  3. Choose your recording duration
  4. Select
    Start

It may take 1-3 minutes to initialize recording, so we recommend starting it right before you begin. You'll see an indication that recording is in progress and all participants are notified when the recording starts.
Recording stops automatically when the duration time you set expires, but you'll get a warning 2 minutes before and the option to extend your recording time by 30 minutes.

Stop recording

Recording automatically stops when the duration time you set expires. If you want to stop recording before that time:
  1. Select the recording icon with the timer in the top toolbar or go back the
    Tools
    menu and select Recordings.
  2. Select
    Stop Recording
    .

Download your recording

When the recording stops, the file is automatically processed and added to the Recordings folder in the
Files
menu of the top toolbar. Each recording is named by default with the following convention: Rec - [DATE AND TIMESTAMP] - [NAME OF COURSE].
  1. Go to
    Files
    in the top toolbar.
  2. Select the folder called
    Recordings
    .
  3. Select the recording you want to download.
  4. Select the Download icon that appears next to the search bar.
Once you've downloaded your recording, you can rebroadcast it for an additional webinar session or convert it to a self-study eLearning .
