This article applies to:

Turn on a webcam and microphone

The 1st time you join a Connect live classroom you are prompted to turn on your webcam and microphone.

Chrome

After joining the classroom, select Activate
.

At the top of your browser you will be prompted to allow access to your webcam and microphone.

Select Allow
.

Firefox

After joining the classroom, select Activate
.

At the top of your browser you are prompted to select what devices you'd like to share.

Select Share Selected Devices
.

To manage your device settings, complete the following:

Select the Settings icon in the top right of the live room.

Select the Device Settings
tab.

From the dropdown menus, select your devices.

As an instructor, you can enable or disable participants' webcams and microphones.

If the webcam and microphone buttons are not selectable, the participant must first turn on their webcam or microphone.
