Create an eLearning Course
An E-Learning course or Online Self-Study is a course that is completed by the learner independently in an online format. The course can contain videos, reading material, online interactive courses, and other training materials that are delivered without a webcast or in-person instructor.
Create an E-Learning course
Sign in as an Administrator and select the gear
to open the Admin menu. Select

then select the green plus (+) New Course
and enter the following information:
- Course code: This is optional but highly recommended. This will help you when you are searching for courses and generating reports. We recommend that you use your firm's initials followed by a numeric code.
- Course Type: ChooseE-Learningfor the course type. Once you enter this information and selectCONFIRMyou won't be able to change the course type.
- Course Name: Enter a unique course name.
- Description: Enter a description that will help users understand what they'll learn in this course.
- Category Destination: select the location for your course within the platform.

This is where you'll add the actual e-learning course file. You can add other training materials such as tests, surveys, presentations, and videos. To add training material, find your course in the Course Management list, select the course name, and select
Training Material
.Add/Modify Course Settings
Once you've created an E-Learning course, you'll want to add course settings. If you've just created your course, select
Advanced Properties
. Otherwise, find your course in the Course Management
list, select the course name, and select Advanced settings
. Enroll users into the Course
Once you've created a course and added your training material(s), an Administrator can enroll users to the course from the Courses section of the Admin menu
. You can enroll an individual user, a group of users, or an entire branch.

Assign course to Catalogs and/or a Learning Plan if you want users to find and enroll in this course by themselves. If you don't add courses to Catalogs or Learning Plans, only the users that you, as an Administrator, enroll into the course will be able to access it.
