Enroll users into a course
As an Administrator, you can enroll users into courses. If a course is added to a catalog or learning plan, a user can also enroll themselves into courses. You can enroll in a course as soon as it's been created, but we suggest you completely configure the course and add training materials before anyone enrolls or is enrolled. See below for steps to enroll users into a course.
If you don’t see the options discussed in this article, you don't have Administrator rights and will need to contact your admin.
- Sign in as an Administrator and select the gear
to open the Admin menu. - SelectCourse Managementand find your course in the list.
- Select the course name and select theSessions and Enrollmentstab.
- SelectEnrollon the right of your course or session. If you already have users enrolled, you'll see theEnrolledicon
instead. - SelectEnroll Usersat the top.
- In the Enroll Users window, you can:
- Use the Users tab on the left to search for and select individual users.
- Use the Groups tab to enroll all users in one or multiple groups you created.
- Use the Branch tab to enroll an entire branch.
- Once you've made your selection, selectNEXT.
- In theLevelfield, select Learner, Tutor, or Instructor for this user or group of users.If you're enrolling a group or branch that includes the user that will be the instructor, you can still select Learner and change them to the Instructor role later.
- SelectNext.
- Once the users have finished importing, select close to view the list of users registered. If necessary, find the user in the list that will be the instructor, select the Edit Enrollment button and change theLevelfield to Instructor.
