Create or edit a company budget

You'll need to be a designated budget reviewer in a company.
A company can either base their departmental budget and reforecasts on the law firm's budget, or on a company budget. Law firms can't view a company budget.

Your company's budget setup will determine if you need to enter a company budget and what you need to enter. You may need to enter one consolidated company budget for all law firms or separate budgets for each firm in a matter.
  1. Select
    Matter list
    under
    Matters
    .
  2. Choose a matter.
  3. With the matter open, select the
    Budget
    tab.
  4. Select
    Company budget
    from the dropdown list.
  5. Select
    Edit current budget
    .
  6. Enter your budget details.

    For fiscal-year budgets, you need to complete the
    Total Matter Budget
    and
    Budget Spreadsheet
    .
    For phased budgets, you need to enter the
    Start Month
    and
    Year
    of the 1st phase, and the number of months for each phase.
  7. Select
    Save & close
    .
