Customizing email templates

Tracker Coordinators and Company System Administrators can use the email template editor to edit default email contents.
To modify an email template:
  1. Click
    Settings
    in the left navigation.
  2. In the
    Features Setup
    section, click
    Email Templates
    . A list of customizable emails displays. If an email has been customized, the checkbox next to it under the
    Customized
    column is selected.
  3. Click
    Modify
    next to the email that you want to edit. The template opens in edit mode.
  4. Edit the email as necessary.
    • You cannot edit or delete
      Non-deletable & required
      keywords, which are highlighted in orange. These elements are required to convey the pertinent information necessary for the purpose of the email.
    • You can delete or move
      Non-editable
      keywords, which are highlighted in gray. Additional non-editable keywords that are included in the default email text are shown in the right pane. To add a non-editable keywork to the email, type [ at the point where the keyword should be placed.
  5. On the top toolbar click
    Save & close
    .
Reset a Customized Email Template
To return a customized email template to the Tracker default:
  1. Select
    Modify
    next to the template that you want to revert.
  2. On the toolbar select
    Revert to default.
  3. Select
    Save & close.
