Add Keywords
Keywords in line item narratives provide cues to invoice reviewers that fee or expense adjustments may be needed, and can provide information about the reason for the adjustment. Companies can create keywords, associate them with fee and expense line item adjustment reasons, view keywords in line item narratives and lifetime keyword statistics.
Required role: Company system administrator can add or manage keywords.
- Keywords are for fee and expense adjustments only, not invoice adjustments.
- Invoice reviewers see keywords highlighted in line item narratives if the keywords are associated with line item adjustment reasons.
- Line item adjustment reasons that are associated with keywords are indicated by an asterisk in the line item adjustment reasons dropdown list as suggested reasons.
Keywords need to be added by a Company System Administrator before they can be associated with adjustment reasons. To see keywords that have already been added, select
