The legal hold integration feature enables company users to review legal hold matters and associated hold details from within Tracker that were created in one of the supported legal hold partner products. The legal hold partner products are
Opentext
Legal Hold and
Exterro
. These products provide near real-time updates to Tracker, without the need to access another system to monitor the legal hold process.
If you use legal hold integration, you can do the following from within Tracker:
Find and link existing legal hold matters to Tracker matters
Create legal hold matters with one click (Tracker to the legal hold system.) Note that holds are issued in the legal hold system.
View a list of linked legal hold matters, hold counts, and hold statuses
Gain insights into legal hold activity on Tracker matter profiles
Report on matter- and system-level legal hold
View key legal hold compliance status information
When Legal Hold is integrated with Tracker, users can see:
A
Legal Holds Activity
field in the Tracker matter profile that indicates that a matter is linked with a legal hold matter.
A
Legal Holds
tab in the matter profile that shows legal hold matter names that are linked to Tracker matters, including hold counts and hold statuses.
A Company System Administrator must set up the integration between Tracker and the legal holds product.
Integrating Tracker with OpenText Legal Hold
Required
Role
: Company System Administrator.
Before You Begin
Integration requires a fully implemented Tracker company. You will also need:
A valid subscription for the legal hold partner product
A Tracker Coordinator or Company System Admin from the company, who will work with Tracker Support on configuring the connection
Admin credentials and a few product details from the legal hold partner.
Step 1 - Set up the OpenText Site Token
If you are using OpenText, the first step in setting up the connection to Tracker is to enable the site token. The site token does not expire, and lets you link your Tracker company to the partner product without having to regularly re-enter your login credentials. In this step you will obtain your site token and short name, which you must enter before you can configure the integration in Tracker.
The steps described below are completed in the OPENTEXT application and are included for your convenience. Contact OPENTEXT if you need help completing these steps.
