Billing Guidelines Acknowledgment lets customers require active law firms to acknowledge billing guidelines before invoice activity continues.
Billing Guidelines Acknowledgment gives legal teams a structured way to communicate billing expectations, track firm acknowledgment, and enforce compliance before invoices are posted.
When a customer uploads billing guidelines, every firm marked as active at that time needs to acknowledge them. This applies to all active firms. It isn't optional.
Firms still need to acknowledge the billing guidelines. That's true even if they don't get an email. If email notifications aren't turned on, an open task will still appear on their Legal Tracker dashboard.
