Bulk Updating User and Firm Information

You can use the Bulk Update feature to edit information for many users or firms/vendors at once. For example, you can use this feature to change the matter budget requirement for multiple firms at once. You can use this feature to edit certain company user and firm/vendor fields.
Bulk update can be used to edit the following firm information:
  • Whether budgets can be required
  • Whether accruals can be required
  • Whether outside counsel evaluations can be required
  • Office vendor numbers
  • Permissible invoice formats

Bulk Updating Company User Information

  1. Click
    Users
    >
    Bulk update
     in the left navigation.
  2. Under
    Step 1: Select a field to update
    , use the dropdown to select
    User Data
    .
  3. Click
    Generate List
    . A list of all company users is returned.
  4. Edit the information you want to change.
  5. On the top toolbar, click
    Save
    . You do not receive a confirmation message, and the screen does not close, but your changes are saved.

Bulk Updating Firm and Vendor Information

  1. Click
    Users
    >
    Bulk update
     in the left navigation.
  2. Under
    Step 1: Select a field to update
    , use the dropdown to select an option under
    Firm Data
    . If your company uses Office Vendor Numbers, you will see each of them listed.
    • If you select
      Law Firm Matter Budget Requirement
      ,
      Law Firm Accrual/Unbilled Time Requirement
      , or
      Outside Counsel Evaluation Requirement
      , the
      Select Filters
       options appear.
    • To narrow the results, click
      Select
      next to
      Type of Service Provider
       or
      Vendor Classification
      . If you do not use the filters, then the list will contain all possible firms and vendors.
  3. Click
    Generate List
    . The list is returned.
  4. Edit the information you want to change.
  5. On the top toolbar, click
    Save
    . You do not receive a confirmation message, and the screen does not close, but your changes will be saved.
